The True Notion of Giving

Why doing as little as possible just matters as much

I went to a hospital the other day to take a SWAB test as a lot of people did.

As I was waiting for my turn, I saw a lot of doctors and nurses passing by and I started to wonder, “What does it feel like to wake up knowing that you’re gonna help a lot of people today?” Cause I don’t think I’d know the answer.

I let the thought passed by and continued taking the test.

I grew up loving doing entrepreneurship stuff. I have a business major and I work in the advertising and sales industry. Everything I’m doing on a day-to-day basis isn’t very ‘selfless’.

Some people actually choose their professional jobs to help other people, but I’m fully aware that it wasn’t my fate to do one. I have always known that my passion lies in business, but there must be a way to help other people with or aside from it.

I struggled for years trying to figure out a middle ground of how I can achieve both, either if it was going to be one action for both purposes or two separate things.

I have tried pretty much everything over the years. Most of them I cannot stick with only after a little while, but I did realize that I understood it wrong.
